Mr Breivik, a prime example of why we should bring back the death penalty?

This morning, the 21 year prison sentence given to Anders Breivik reminded me of why I think the death penalty should be brought back.
I know that when those 21 years are up the Norwegian courts can sentence Mr Breivik to more jail time, but by the sounds of it, the prison life he will have does not seem a fair punishment for the unforgivable murder of 77 people; most of those in their teens.
As a Catholic I will admit my views on abortion and things such as the death penalty are rather mixed. While I would never judge anyone who had an abortion, it is something I personally don’t believe in where as the death penalty is something I do believe in.
While killing someone will not bring back those who were murdered, why should Mr Breivik, a man who has throughout the trial shown no remorse for what he did and even attempted to apologise for not killing more people that day, be allowed to live?
In prison he will have gym equipment, a laptop, and three rooms.
In cases such as this one where the evidence is undisputable and a horrendous crime has been committed, why shouldn’t we bring back the death penalty or even sentence someone to a prison sentence where they have no luxuries.
Mr Breivik said that an insanity ruling would have been “worse than death”, so maybe this is what the courts should have ruled. I don’t think he would have smiled at that.
Some people will read this and disagree with my views on the death penalty. That’s fine; we are all entitled to our own views.
But how would you feel if you were the mother or sister or cousin of one of the innocent people murdered by someone showing no remorse?
You should lose your human rights as soon as you take someone else’s away from them.

Wow two blogs in one day...you lucky things!

So, I've kinda neglected this poor blog for quite a while it seems. I've had lots of ideas on what to write for an entry but I've just never seemed to get round to actually writing something.
I'd look at this page, guiltily and think: 'Oh I'll write something later' and sure as eggs is eggs, I've never got round to it. Like everything else in life, as soon as you put it off once, I find you always make excuses to keep putting it off.
Truth be told, most people out there don't really care what you have to say, especially, if like me, your blogs are just more rambles not based on anything.
So firstly I apologise to those who do read my rambles and secondly, I make a promise to those of you who do read my blog to start blogging more frequently and on matters of public interest...not just my interests.
Got any ideas for me to blog on? Is something really grinding your gears? If so get in contact via my Twitter -  @DanielleAMorris- and I promise I will attempt to write a blog that you might actually enjoy reading :)

Sacre bleu! Watch out for those French drivers...

I love the south of France. I love the how helpful the people are, I love the food and most of all I love the sun! But one thing I really don't love is how the French drive. I hate to generalise, but from what I have experienced pretty much everytime I've been to France is rude, impatient drivers. Maybe its the heat, maybe they want to get home for a siesta, or maybe it's just pure road rage!
At roundabouts they scarcely use their indicators leaving us with much confusion as to when to go, leaving a queue of impaitent drivers beeping behind us.
In car parks they have a tendancy to park across two bays at times, they again don't indicate when leaving or entering and ignore any friendly advice you try to give.
They also love to park in the most awkward places. For example just after a turn, right in the middle of the road making it a squeeze for even a mini to get by!
Another favourite for motorcycle and Vespa drivers especially is to overtake on a bend...Now okay, I know motorcycles can get away with it easier than a car can, but they don't even know what's round that corner and they don't seem to care! (Mind you, if I had a Vespa I'd probably speed off like there was no tomorrow!)
Anyway, I believe anyone here who wants to pass their driving test should just simply go to France and take it there. To pass your test it would appear the more majors and minors you get, the better!
I know you get troublesome drivers everywhere you go but we don't move in and out of lanes as if it is a game. Well, most drivers here don't.
Please French drivers, we know you look awesome in your expensive cars and have places to be but I would like to have one holiday where I'm not fretting everytime I approach a roundabout.
If you start drove as expertly as you make those delicious raspberry tarts I'm sure we'd all be a lot happier.
