Men really are from Mars...

It's been said for years that Men and Women really do come from different planets. Men from Mars and Women, from Venus. While I agree we have several major differences such as women being the Greater Sex I have never fully believed we were all that different until the other day...

In a rather desperate but sweet (I hastily add!) attempt to 'understand my world' my beloved boyfriend often asks what we women would call ridiculous questions.
Now, don't get me wrong, the man in question is a very smart young man, has much more common sense then me (well, that's not hard) but when it comes to all matters concerning females...he has no clue.

I guess for a girl, I would say I know a fair bit about his interests, not only have I starting supporting his beloved Ipswich Town Football Club, but I have been learning the names of the players, I watch football with him on a Saturday, I play Fifa and I think I could just about explain to you the Offside Rule. Not bad I think.

But he on the other hand...

Now as you all know from my first blog, Tania and I bravely went and had our eyebrows threaded. I'm hoping you all know what this means because dear Alex just had no clue:
"You know when you went and had your eyebrows threaded, well do they just thread the hair into your skin..."

I imagine you can picture the look on my face, I really thought he was joking until I looked back into his blank face and realised this poor boy just had NO clue.

Now whilst I appreciate that he was just indeed trying to understand my world, you would think he had some idea.
How and why would we permanently want eyebrow hair threaded into our skin?!

But Alex, I do thank you for trying to understand my world, we women are complex creatures and it's not everyday you find a man who even cares about the great lengths of pain we go through to try look half decent for them let alone care enough to ask questions as ridiculous as they may be.
Let's just hope he doesn't ask where babies come from...
